About Jacob Bump
Jacob Bump is a high-end residential builder based in New York. The principal of a construction company since 2004, Jacob Bump has extensive experience working in the tri-state area in both new construction and renovation.
A renowned residential builder in the tri-state area, Jacob Bump has over 50 projects completed and multiple projects published in Architectural Digest, Elle Decor, The World of Interiors, House and Garden, and The New York Times. Equally experienced in both new construction and renovation work, Jacob Bump provides clients with an unparalleled level of craftsmanship and design.
Prior to taking over the family business, Jacob Bump worked in various banking and consulting positions in New York, California, and Germany. Bump began his educational journey at The University of Notre Dame where he graduated with his B.A. in German and Russian Studies. Following Notre Dame, Jacob attended Columbia University, where he received his MBA. Bump later went on to receive his M.A. in Management from The University of California at Berkeley. Jacob Bump is currently pursuing an M.A. in International Relations from Harvard University.
Apart from his business, Jacob Bump is deeply rooted in his community and is apart of various boards and associations. He has been a board member and volunteer at The Cornelia Connelly Center since 2010. Jacob is also a member of President’s Council at The Institute for Classical Architecture & Art, in addition to being a member of the Notre Dame Club of Manhattan.
Having studied German and Russian Studies, Jacob Bump is thoroughly interested in not only travel but international relations. Fluent in both German and Spanish, Jacob Bump sets time aside to travel across the globe, often gaining inspiration for his designs.
